Hey guys? Happy new month to you all. I hope this month of August is treating you well.
Remember how I was saying the rain has passed in my last post? Well, I could not not have been more wrong. The rain has come like it is just the beginning of the rainy season. It rained so much yesterday our little town of Eldoret was actually flooded. Like cars were floating in water sort of flooded. I guess now they see the need for good drainage systems. Also made me realize I am no rainmaker. As if I needed proof…
Yesterday before the skies opened to bless us with water, Gilbert, Sidney and I left school to go shooting for the blog. Our scouting for a location somehow led us to Boma Hotel, Eldoret. Ok, so that may not be entirely true. It was more like we followed the signboard and ended up there but those are details that no one cares about really. The hotel provided a more than perfect shooting location and we will certainly be going to shoot a few more looks there. Oh, the cocktail juice was good too.
I am hoping the weather will cooperate with me so I can take photos and do more posts. Because as it is now it rains every afternoon, and I have classes in the morning. What’s a girl to do?
