I don’t have a video today, though you can catch up on the numerous videos on my channel here.I have a post instead, that was supposed to be up on Wednesday like always, but technology let me down. It is refreshing though, that just this once, it wasn’t Zuku but rather Apple.
It has taken me a while, let’s say it’s taken me 20 plus years, to finally be able to define my style. I like dressing for myself, not for a man, not for my friends, and certainly not for my family. Believe me, if my family had their way, there are certain items, read my favourite lace tops, that would never see the light of day.
My style is comfortable, but comfortable to me, not someone else. Because the thing about comfort is that it’s quite subjective, just like style. I will wear anything I feel comfortable in, and perhaps this is why I shy away from body cons and any form fitting dresses, because I just never feel comfortable in them. I am almost always drawn to loose fitting silhouettes, with an exception here and there. I also enjoy throwing in a boyish, or grunge item, in an otherwise girly look. In short, I’d define my style as comfortable, and every thing with a side of boyish.
Which is where the title of this post comes in. Mustard is the colour of the sweater, but also, I’ve mastered the art of my personal style. Cute play on words, no? I hope I inspire you, in one way or another, to master your own personal style, and rock it without a care in the world (ok, maybe a little care).
