Hey guys? How is the cold treating you? It’s warm out today though so that’s something. Full disclosure, I love the cold season. Rather, I think I know how to dress better for the cold than warm season. I like putting some thought into my outfits and summer doesn’t really let me do that. The most I can do is pair a pair of jeans and a crop top, then debate the shoes.
This post was going to be up at 10am, or thereabout…but then I woke up and all hell broke loose (you’ll see why this is a terrible pun in about a second). I had food poisoning you guys. In all my years of being alive, I have never had food poisoning, something that up until today, I’ve been very proud of. I thought my stomach was unbreakable, and boy was I wrong!!! I have been regaled with tales of food poisoning and I’m sad that I have finally joined the tale tellers.
I’ll stop my rant there, and focus for a minute on the clothes. My brother got me this fabric that my pants are made out of ages ago when he was in Vietnam (not the war, just to be clear 🙂 . I kept it for so long, always unsure of whether I should make a skirt or a pair of pants out of it (obvious which won). Then one day my cousin was going to our tailor’s to make stuff and I figured, this was the perfect time, and so I present to you, *drum rolls please* my favourite pair of pants.
Top – Gikomba (I knooow)
Pants – Custom made, dedicated a whole paragraph up there to it
