I’m doing a hair update, one because my last one was so long ago and some things have changed, and two, I didn’t have enough time to edit the images for my would have been today’s post. Read my last hair q&a here. Also, there have been more and more questions about my hair, and I usually answer them there and then. However, it would be great to have a post to refer to if you have questions.
I already answered some of them in the video below so check if whatever question you have was answered there. The questions are:
Why did you start your hair journey?
How long have you been on your hair journey?
Are you natural, relaxed or transitioning?
What is your length right now?
What is your goal length?
What is your hair texture?
Health or length?
If you could only live with one hair product, what would it be?
What’s the worst product you’ve ever used?
What is your “go to” hair style?
Are you a product junkie?
How often do you trim your hair?
How often do you use heat?
Do you take hair supplements?
Who is your hair crush?
How long does it take you on a wash day?
Worst thing that happened to your hair?
Do you dye your hair? If so, what colour?
Who do you tag?
The most common question I receive is what dye is on my hair?
My hair is not dyed, this is actually bleached hair. When I dyed my hair red, it had to be bleached for it to be bright red. When the red dye faded off eventually, more like washed off, the bleached hair remained. So the blonde you see, is actually my bleached hair. The black hair is just the growth.
How do I get my hair to look like that?
I almost always have a wash and go, or twist outs. The above picture is of my twist outs from Sunday. I still have them on by the way. See this post from my collab with Marini Naturals to see how I achieve my twistouts. Speaking of collab, myself and a couple other bloggers have a fun one coming up so be on the lookout for it. These photos are a slight preview.
I also talked about the current products I’m using in this post so have a look there.
If your questions are still not answered from these posts and video, please comment below and I’ll answer it as best as I could.
Thank you so much for reading, and for the continuous support, I really do appreciate it.
